Outlook loosing connection to Exchange Server
Ihave a problem with the exchange server 2003. Every day I am getting message in outlook that it cannot connect to the Exchange Server Connection seems to be lost for no more then 5 seconds and then its working again. This message can show up anywhere from 2 to 10 times a day. Other users experiencing the same issue.I triedswitching from non-cache mode to cache but problem still there. I thought it might be a network issue so I run outllook from Exchange server. I don' get message from outllok that connection has been lost, but I am noticing lagging at the same time other users have problem connecting to the server. Given that information does anyone know if the problem lies with PC that runs exchange server, Exchange server itself or maybe Mail Store file(s) are getting corrupted. Here is some additional information about the excange box:CPU: Dual Zeon 3.0 GHzRAM: 4 GBNetwork Card: Two cards running as a team for failoverO/S: Windows 2003 ServerExchange 2003 SP2Any help will be appricated. Serge P.S. I checked event viewer on the exchange box and I don;t see any error messages comming from exchange server.

I would also check if you have installed recently any software on server? Check for DC and GC connectivity by running DCDIAG and NETDIAG Also make sure your hardware Firmware is updated. It would not be a bad idea to run the EXBPA to make sure your server is uptodate. Vinod |CCNA|MCSE 2003 +Messaging|MCTS|ITIL V3|
