I am running Windows 2000, SP4. When I attempt to open Outlook - it opens and then immediately closes. It will open in Safe Mode - but not in normal mode.It has been installed over 3 years with no issues. The problem seemed to start when I installed ActiveSync to sink up my contacts with a new phone. I tried stopping ActiveSync, no help. I uninstalled ActiveSync, no help. I ran 'scanpst.exe' and it said that the pst file had no problems.Ideas?

Try deleting the Outlook profile and recreating it. This might be a problem with your OST file or something in the profile.
