Outlook or Exchange Problem???
I can't say that I've had this problem, but quite a few users have been having multiple issues with Calendar, specifically when we're updating a meeting. Sometimes it does it and sometimes doesn't but it's very annoying b/c it happens more frequenty than not. Here's all the error messages we get when we're changing in any way, i.e. date and time change, location change, a note in the body of the meeting. 1. "THE FUNCTION CAN NOT BE PERFORMED BECAUSE THE MESSAGE HAS BEEN CHANGE." 2. "THE ITEM COULD NOT BE SAVED BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN MODIFIED BY ANOTHER USER OR IN ANOTHER WINDOW." Nobody else is modifying the meeting but me. This one is really ridiculous because I get it when I'm trying to ACCEPT a meeting invite. 3. "YOU CANNOT RESPOND TO A MEETING WITHOUT AN ORGANIZER. YOU MUST ADD AN ORGNAIZER FIELD TO THE ITEM." And the meeting came from someone else, "THE ORGANIZER" of the meeting!!!! I'm just trying to accept the invite! I keep telling our people here that there is something really wrong with Outlook, a glitch or something is not working well with something in our whole company system. I don't know, but it would be nice to know if anybody else anywhere is having these issues???

Are you running any third-party synchronization software, such
as might be used with a mobile device?-- Ed Crowley MVP"There

Any application event errors on your CAS servers?Does this happen for all users? Has it ever worked?
March 10th, 2010 1:16am
There is an Application error in my CAS, it reads: Error EXCDO even 8206 Calendaring agent failed with error code 0x8004010f while saving appointment. It is just strange, sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't, and not everyone gets this, just a couple people but they don't like it. @Ed Crowley: Nope, we don't use any third-party synchronization software. I forgot to mention: we're using Exchange 2007 SP1 + Update roll up 9 and Outlook 2000 sp3

Hi Xiu, I have tried that, and it sometimes still does that. And I got this event log: EXCDO Event: 8206: Calendaring agent failed with error code 0x8004010f while saving appointment. 8199: Calendaring agent failed in message save notification with error 0x80040219 on <email address>:/Calendar/1-598840-1 Check status.EML. And nope, we don't use blackberry in the network.

Hi,
First please try to delete the calendar item that mentioned in the event.
For those users with error code : 0x8004010f I would also like you to check if there are any recurring appointments, in their calendars without start/end date.
0x8004010f can also be interpreted as MAPI_E_NOT_FOUND. This will happen if a required property or item is not present. This error happens if a recurring appointment is saved without a start/end time or a time-zone. This indicates a corruption by the client / software used by the owner of the mailbox. In other words, each of the above errors are informational only. Check if there is an application creating a recurring appointment without a start/end time or a time-zone.
Regards,
Xiu
