Outlook send/receive problems

I have an error in my Microsoft Outlook that says error (0x8DE00006): Contact Support: Error: 3209. Server. We noticed some unusual activity in your Hotmail account. To help protect you, weve temporarily blocked your account.

But I changed my password, and of course Microsoft makes it impossible to contact them the online facility just sends you round and round ending up in no-where mans land. Im still getting this error.  Anyone know how to fix? Thanks.

Hello,

There are some possible solutions for error 0x8DE00006.

  1. You should check the validation of email address.
  2. If window updates is waiting for a reboot, then install & reboot it.
  3. Remove the account from MS Outlook, Restart Outlook, and then add it back. If you are using MS Outlook 2010, 2007 or older version, uninstall the connector after removing the Microsoft Outlook account then reinstall it.
