Outlook to Exchange 2007 connection issue
Hello, when I am opening Outlook a pop up shows and says: Allow this website to configure test@domain.com server settings and underneath it shows an address pointing to the autodiscover.xml What configuration is happening in the background since when I started Outlook the first time it alrerady configured itself with the e-mail and server settings. Also I am having a pop up with an error cross ( Security Alert ) The name on the security certificate is invalid ir does not match the name of the site. To which site he is referring and how can I fix this pls ?

I am assuming that you replaced the self-sign certificate with a public cert or one from your intenal CA (if not you need to). What names are in your cert? At a minimum you will need your owa.domain.com and autodiscover.domain.com. The pop ups you are getting are probably from autodiscover. If you Ctrl-right click on your Outlook icon in the system tray and select Test Email Autoconfiguration, uncheck the two Guessmart boxes. Post the results and we can help with what specifically needs to be in your cert.Tim Harrington - Catapult Systems - http://HowDoUC.blogspot.com

Configuring this in SBS is a little different than in regular Exchange server. You might want to post your question in the SBS forums. I did find this article: http://blogs.technet.com/b/sbs/archive/2008/12/03/how-outlook-2007-and-windows-mobile-6-1-use-autodiscover-with-sbs-2008.aspx Tim Harrington - Catapult Systems - http://HowDoUC.blogspot.com
