We are migrating from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013. After installing Exchange 2013 the urls we use to access Public Folders are redirected not to CAS 2007 but CAS 2013. And as OWA 2013 do not support public folders we can not get the message from it. Can i bind public folders to OWA  2007?

I'm not sure if you can bind only public folder because if your mailbox is moved then it will look for homeDB for mailbox in the AD.

What about accessing the Public Folders using Outlook 2007/2010?

Why not to migrate Public Folder from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013 Public Folder Mailboxes?

1. None mailbox is moved yet. All of them are on Exchange 2007 storage and url are redirected to OWA 2013. Is it possible to get which CAS will be used? 

2. I think all this migration to 2013 will fail becase we use some strange software that works with urls to messages in Public Folders. So if OWA 2013 can not deal with it I think we will stay on 2007.

When i started installation of Exchange 2013 i got some warnnig that I wont be able to install Exchange 2010 from this time. Is it safe to uninstall Exchange 2013 and install 2010?

You can still change/force the urls to Exchange 2007 is Cu7 does not help you. Or if you already on Cu7
