We have quite a few public folders that we use for customer emails. All of the sudden (and as far as I tell, randomly) some of the folders' messages are now coming in as posts instead of emails. Now, granted, it's not the end of the world, but it's causing my users to have to think too much and that's never good. Any idea how to fix this?

Hi, I remember having a similar problem, although I am not sure why it would suddenly happen. I changed the defult type of items in the public folders by editing the registry as below: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\<ServerName>\Public-<GUID> Value name: Incoming defaults to IPM.NoteValue type: DWORDValue data: 0 or 1 0 (zero) is default (0=false). I then used the Outlook forms conversion utility downloadable from http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/assistance/HA011384301033.aspx to convert the existing items to IPM.Note.
