PLEASE HELP i lost my service pack 1 disc
My laptop came with the operating discs forXP Media Centre Edition 2004with Service Pack 1. Now I am stuck in the middle ofan xp installation because I have misplaced the Service Pack 1 disc. My computer asks me to insert the disc labled Service Pack 1 and I have looked all over the internet but I cant find anywhere to get asp1 disc. Even on Microsofts website it only has XP Service Pack 3 information.Would service pack 2 or 3 work if I get one of them and put it in to my laptop when it says to put the service pack 1 disc in? or how do I solve this problem? Thank you in advance for any help.
