Pager Contacts
Why do my pager contacts keep disappearing from my exchange environment? I have asked if any of my co-workers have accidently deleted any they have said no that they didn't delete
any by accident. We are running Exchange server 2007 any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately Active Directory Auditing does not audit contact deletions only user deletions. Are you manually creating these contacts or is it done by some program?James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com

Contacts are just AD objects. Exchange isn't removing them.
If you're running the AD on Windows 2008 you can use the "Protect
object from accidental deletion" checkbox on the "Object" tab of its
property page.

Hi Lion0142,
Any updates?
The "pager contacts" are contacts listed in the Mail Contact node under the Recipient Configuration? Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
