Passing the reciepient address to Outlook
I have an exchange 2007 mailbox with multiple SMTP addresses (aliases). I have rules set in Outlook to flag mail that is sent to certian email reciepient addresses. Outlook flags all email regardless of the reciepient because Exchange only passes the default email address to Outlook and it equates to all the aliases that I have ,not the original reciepient address. Anyone know of a way around this.,

Hi Michael, I would like to explain that the Outlook cannot distinguish the SMTP address for the same mailbox. Thus, I suggest that we set the rules on the client to work around the issue: For example, we have two SMTP address for the mailbox: 1. TestA@domain.com 2. TestB@domain.com We can set two rules to accomplish the destination: Rule 1: sent to TestA@domain.com, flag message with Red Rule 2: sent to TestB@domain.com, flag message with Blue, except with TestA@domain.com in the recipients address Note: The Rule 1 must be implemented before the Rule 2.
