Performance Point Show Details option disabled!
Hi Team,
When I tried to select multiple parameters in Performance Point Dashboard and then right click on the report to see the details through showdetails option, I am not able to see the showdetails option enabled.
However if I remove the multiple selection from parameters and selecting one parameter then showdetails is enabled.
I wonder is there any way to turn on this option or is it intentional behaviour of the system?
Many thanks
Regards
Kalyan

If you select multiple members in a filter that will disable the ability for Show Details or Drillthrough actions when you are filtering on items in the background (as a slicer). This is the same result you would get if you were using Excel also
to connect and use PivotTables or PivotCharts.

So it is not possible to enable the showdetails option when selecting the multiple values in parameter?

Not when you have it mapped to an item in the background.
When you select multiple values from a filter and pass this to a background item in a report PPS creates an Aggregate member based on the values that you selected. This will not allow you to perform a Show Details at this point.

Dan,
Is there anyway to define disabling "Show Details" as the default behavior? We have created a number of cube actions and users always get confused and select "Show Details" instead. Thanks for any help you can provide.
