Hi,

I am kind a stuck in excel calculated field for pivot table which has formula like this

=IF(Item="Factory",1,0)

--->Values 1,0 are just for examples

The Item field contain data like "Factory". "Duty" "Fee" etc....

Now my problem is that above formula is always getting False value i.e. 0 I can't help it to make condition TRUE, I don't know why but formula outside pivot table is working perfectly...

Please help me out on this.

Note: Data is coming from Cube so I can not change anything from Source... I have to summarize values using Pivot table and do some custom calculations based on Item Field

Hi Farhan,

I test your formula in my own environment and it works fine with my data. Im not sure if your data is refresh every day, or if your formula is incorrect.

I suggest if possible please provide a sample and I can get more accurate solutions to this problem.
