Pop Mail to Exchange Server using Outlook 2007
Hi Guys If anyone coudl guide me on the below it would be VERY much appreciated as i am now at a loss...I am currentlly in the process of moving from POP mail to Exchange Mail, whenever I try and set-up the Exchange Server via the tools set-up in Outlook, it informs me that it cannot perform the operation whilst Outlook is open and I should complete the operation in the Mail file within Control Panel. When I then try and set-up the Exchange Server via this route it tells me that Outlook 07 must be open in order to perform the operation and keeps looping me roundI have successfully been able to set-up my mail folder on my iphone and have used all the sign-ons, passwords as i have in Outlook 07 but thiskeeps drawing a blank.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Cheers,Adrian

Are you creating a new profile?Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles > Select Prompt for a profile to be used > Add > enter a name > OK > Complete the entries. If your back-end is Exchange 2007, click Next, and Autoconfigure will query Exchange 2007 Autodiscover to complete your settings. If that doesn't work or your server is older, then select the Manually configure server settings checkbox and then click Next.Select Microsoft Exchange > Next > enter your server name and user name and click Check Name > Next > Finish. If you have any trouble, tell us exactly the steps you followed, where you get a problem, and the complete error message you receive.Good luck!
