Possible RPC over HTTP problem
I have a customer that is using Exchange 2003 sp2, about 2 months ago we started getting reports that users where not able to connect outside the building using RPC over HTTP. We tested and found that yes it has quit working. We rebooted the server and everything worked fine. Since than it has been happening more frequently as of right now we are having to reboot the server every 3 days to fix the issue. Just starting and stopping the exchange services and/or IIS does not fix the issue. The only thing that fixes the issue is a reboot of the server. If we look at preformance logs nothing is out of line except RPC request that are high, but they are high wither it works or not. I look at the IIS logs and everything looks fine there. End users inside the company and OWA users are fine not matter what.
Does anyone have any ideas or a detailed flow chart that I can use to help determine what happens between the IIS and the Exchange services that would make RPC not work.

Hi,
Please improve the Diagnostics Logging level to Maximum.
Then check the event log when such issue recurring, and let me know.
Thanks
