Possible compatibility issues between Outlook 2013 and Exchange 2007

My main reason for writing is to see if there are any known issues in the deleted items folder on Outlook 2013. I have a user who was trying to delete old folders from her email account via Outlook 2013, but kept getting a message that the server was not finished synchronizing the folder. I tried taking her offline, but still received the same error. I wound up having to get her to access an older version of Outlook web-mail to be able to delete the folders, which we were able to do without issue.

We use Microsoft Exchange server 2007 on a Windows Server 2008 Standard. I am curious to know if this is a known compatibility issue, and if there are any other known issues between Outlook 2013 and Exchange Server 2007. We are looking into upgrading our servers to Server 2012 and Exchange 2013, and if there are known issues I can use that to help me pitch the idea to the powers that be.

I'm in the same boat as you.  Deploying Windows 8.1 with Office 2013 and current Exchange 2007 SP3 on Windows Server 2008 SP2 (not R2).

Current issue is with Address Book.  We have one field (Post-Office-Box) which will not display correctly in Outlook 2013 on some machines.  On most 8.1 machines it displays the data, but the box around it is smaller.  One a handful of machines the Post-Office-Box data is not visible at all.  Outlook 2007/3 do not have any issues.  No Outlook 2010 here.

Microsoft said to delete and recreate the field, and I did, but same result.  It may have something to do with the Post-Office-Box being a Multi Value attribute instead of a standard text attribute.  All standard text attributes appear fine on Outlook 2013.

Microsoft does not officially support Outlook 2013 against Exchange 2007.  I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle at this point.
