Possible to embed images using OWA
I've been trying to figure this out. Maybe it's not possible. If not, let me know.Using Outlook 2000/2003/2007, it's possible to copy an image to the clipboard and paste it directly into an email, and sent embedded, rather than attached (what's the actual distinction here?).I don't want to link to an image on a server or attached, I want the image embedded along with the email. I have very specific requirements because I'm trying to troubleshoot a problem Outlook 2007 seems to have sending to 2000.Is it possible to do this with OWA 2007?

Hi,
Base on my research, there is no way to paste the picture in the clipboard into email in OWA. If you would like a picture embedded email in OWA, you can send email to yourself in Outlook and forward that embedded email to test your issue.
Whats your original problem? Do we have to paste the picture in the clipboard into email directly? Thanks and I await your reply,
Elvis

Hi Elvis, and thanks for the response.Your solution does seem to be the only one for using OWA with embedded images. While it's not a bad idea, I want to test the OWA client as the originator of the message. My original problem is detailed here. There's probably a bit too much detail. http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/ShowPost.aspx?siteid=17&PostID=3479300#3479300&SiteID=17The long story of the original problem: Some recipients on exchange 5.5 using Outlook 2000sp3 aren't seeing embedded images sent by some senders on exchange 2007 using Outlook 2007. I think it's a setting, since my 2007 client can be received by some, but not all, and another sender isn't being received by any (as far as embeds go. The attached and text portions come through fine.)If you have any thoughts, I'd love to hear them.
