Hi,
Try the following steps:
Open PowerPoint 2010, click on Print > select the Printer as ‘XPS Document Writer’
Change the Color option to Pure Black and White > click on Print
Verify the status for the XPS printout
If the XPS Document Writer is able to print in Pure Black and White using PowerPoint then you may need to update the driver for the problem printer to the latest version. You may contact the printer manufacturer for help regarding driver installation.
Alternatively you may enable gray scale option for the printer and verify the status.
