Hello,

I am trying to run a .ppt file with 2003 power point viewer.

I have made a batch file, and when I double click it, it runs fine.

However when I try and run the batch file from another program, I get an error
PowerPoint Viewr cannot find the file "filename.ppt"

I have added the path to pptview.exe to the environment variable   /System Variable / "Path"as well as added the .ppt file extension to the PATHEXT variable.
my batch file just looks like this

pptview.exe "quiz 839c.ppt" /S
and as I mentioned it works fine, just not when I use my other program.. which I assume just works like double clicking a file.
Any chance some one might know how to help?
