Power View in Excel 2013 full screen mode

Hi all,

I'm working with Power View in Excel 2013 and currently looking for a similar "Full Screen" view
that is provided in Power View in Sharepoint. SharePoint allows for Read-only mode full screen with a black background. When I click the charts, I don't see the resize borders around it.

Is it possible to use this same Full Screen mode in Excel 2013 while running Power View reports ?

In Excel I'm able to use the auto-hide Ribbon tabs option so that only the chart is shown. However, there is no black background and also when I click the chart area the resize borders still show up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Maybe I think it cannot be done. Even though when I opened the workbook in read-only mode, the chart also can be resized.

And could you please explain to me why you do not want the users to change the chart size in Power View? Then maybe we can find some other workaround.

Coming into this a couple of years later but am looking for some help. Looks like a full screen view is not available with Power View in Excel 2013. It would be useful in allowing reports to be easily viewable for field staff using laptop screens so I'm hoping to find a work around or solution. Currently reports that are shared via the one drive or the Power BI app are basically not readable when text is involved.
