Hi Michael,
First please check you're using the latest version of Power Pivot.
Then I suppose you don't have the permission to access one or more data sources.
Please try this method:
Click Table > Existing Connections, in the opened window you can edit (or refresh) your connections. In case there is a connection to a flat file check the directory and/or the drive letter (mapped Network Drive).
If your issue still exists, I suggest you post your issue to Power Pivot forum:
https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/home?forum=sqlkjpowerpivotforexcel&filter=alltypes&sort=lastpostdesc
The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Thank you for your understanding.

For an incredible reason, the data model works this morning without me having changed anything whatsoever. Nevertheless, as recommended, I will download the latest version of Power Pivot as well as the Configuration Analyser Tool.
Thank you so much for having answered my thread and if eventually I still have the same problem, I will get back to the forum.
Michael
