Prevent users from double-booking a calendar resource before sending invitation
Hello, how can we get a pop-up or other type of alert to be displayed before a user sends a calendar invitation to prevent double-bookings? The resources are already setup to not allow conflicts, and the user creating the event will get an e-mail saying it's declined, but we want the user to get a pop-up or some other alert before they send the invitation so they can adjust it. Does this make sense? I've read some forums people go into Outlook and set the calendar - resource settings to auto-accept and decline conflicts. I have this set for some test resources, but it still doesn't prompt me before sending the invitation if a conflict exists. Below is the settings AutomateProcessing : AutoAccept AllowConflicts : False BookingWindowInDays : 180 MaximumDurationInMinutes : 1440 AllowRecurringMeetings : True EnforceSchedulingHorizon : True ScheduleOnlyDuringWorkHours : False ConflictPercentageAllowed : 0 MaximumConflictInstances : 0 ForwardRequestsToDelegates : True DeleteAttachments : True DeleteComments : True RemovePrivateProperty : True DeleteSubject : True DisableReminders : True AddOrganizerToSubject : True DeleteNonCalendarItems : True TentativePendingApproval : True EnableResponseDetails : True OrganizerInfo : True ResourceDelegates : {} RequestOutOfPolicy : AllRequestOutOfPolicy : False BookInPolicy : AllBookInPolicy : True RequestInPolicy : AllRequestInPolicy : False AddAdditionalResponse : False AdditionalResponse : RemoveOldMeetingMessages : True AddNewRequestsTentatively : True ProcessExternalMeetingMessages : False DefaultReminderTime : 15 RemoveForwardedMeetingNotifications : False Identity : domain/Users/Test-Room1
