Preventing Auto Archiving
Is is possible to prevent a shared mailbox from being archived by a local client? We are currently using Exchange Server 2003. Thanks PaulPaul Glickenhaus

Auto archiving is exclusively a client side setting, so you cannot control it on a per user basis. All you can do is disable it completely using group policy - but that will apply to all users who get that group policy setting. Hi, In Exchange 2003, it is impossible to prevent a shared mailbox from being archived by a local client because it depends on the clients. Hope this helps.
