Preventing email deletion during litigation hold
Is there a way from the Exchange 2007 side (not the Outlook side) to prevent end-users from deleting email in mailboxes they have FullAccess rights too? This is for compliance withthe new guidelines on Federal Rules of Civil Procedureon ediscovery and litigation holds.
Thanks in advance.

I think, There isnt any wayto do that in Exchange 2007 natively.
You may need to search for some third-party utilities if you want to do it from server side

I just went through this as well. We had to keep certain users from deleting anything in their mailboxes. Exchange can't do this. We exported their mailboxes to PST and then set up journaling for those users so that we could keep a copy in case the user deleted something.
