Printer/USB
I hope someone can help...this is a two parter:First, I have a new all in one HPC4435 that was working fine up until a few days ago. I tried to print something and I recieved a error message saying the printer was off line. So I tried to reconnect using the usb port I always use and I recieved a error saying "one of the usb devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it. With help from HP live help, we uninstalled the usb hubs and reinstalled them, but to no avail. I uninstalled the printer software and reinstalled it. when prompted to connect USB, I recieved the same error message. So I repeated the process and the computer still is not recognizing the printer. The scanner works and I have printed by inserting a scan disc into the unit. When I open the program it says "printer is disconnected"I have tried to manually add a printer and that didnt work either? When I hit ctrl P, the hp printer is listed but status is off line??? If anyone has any other ideas, please help! thank you Lee
