Problem with Adress list of Exchange 2007
There is a curious problem with my Exchange 2007. I create a new user and I try to configure this user on outlook I receive an error message saying
that this user doesn’t exists on the address list. However, if a click on the “hide from exchange address list” and then click again disabling, this user appear on the address list.
Someone know what’s happening ?

How are you creating the mailbox (not the user) initially?

How long after you create the mailbox are you trying to use it? Do you
have more than one Global Catalog server? Do you have more than one AD
site? It could be nothing more than AD replication delay.

Hi Rich
I have 4 AD Site each one with its global catalog server.
Today I've tryed other ways to resolve this problem. I've discovered when I run update-addresslist, the user appears on the GAL.
I agree with you . maybe it's a problem Ad replication delay.
Do you know how can I configure the interval time update of GAL on Exchange 2007 ?

I think the replication between AD sites happens every 15 minutes. I
didn't say AD replication was a problem, I meant that it may be that
you simply need to wait a little while after creating the mailbox
before you try using it.
I wouldn't change the interval. I'd just wait.

Hi,
The minimum interval of AD Replication is 15 minutes. If the interval exceeds the time allowed by the schedule, replication occurs once at the scheduled time. For
more information, please refer to the following article:

Thanks.
