Problem with uninstall, errorcode (5009 : 0x8002802b) need help, clarification please read.
Yes, I know this has been discussed before. I've found some things that don't work and that I don't understand, so I'm asking for some clarification here. Keep in mind also I not using Vista, I'm using windows XP. I'm getting the below error when trying to uninstall one of my programs through the option under the program in the start menu Keep in mind, I'm trying to UNINSTALL not install, I want this program gone from my system. I've seen some other posts where they are trying to install, that's not what I'm doing here just to be clear. Under details it lists this:<<Error Code: -5009 : 0x8002802bError Information:>Ctor\ObjectWrapper.cpp (163)>Ctor\ObjectWrapper.cpp (391)>Kernel\Component.cpp (1163)>Ctor\ObjectWrapper.cpp (34)>Ctor\DriverWrapper.cpp (31)>Kernel\Component.cpp (1152)>Kernel\CABFile.cpp (384)>SetupDLL\SetupDLL.cpp (1526)PAPP:Ultima Online: Mondain's LegacyPVENDOR:EA Games (http://www.uo.com)PGUIDF7B213D-2065-41ED-BB51-7A3EED31EA7B$11.0.0.28844@Windows XP Service Pack 2 (2600) BT_OTHER 55312.18>>Here's something which makes some suggestionshttp://techinsp.blogspot.com/2006/12/error-5099-0x8002802b-has-occurred.htmlto quote it (hmm not quote tags button here? Not a php board I see)<<< Click the Runtime folder. The Runtime directory expands. Right-click the 0700 folder and left-click Rename. Type 0701 and press the Enter key on the keyboard.>>>It's already named 0701 there, so this doesn't help.I also found this:http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=3743192&SiteID=17which links to thishttp://consumer.installshield.com/kb.asp?id=Q108322But I'm trying to UNINSTALL the program, not install one.

Anyway, I tried that program and I have the same problem, it first tries to uninstall it the normal way, and I get the same message. I realize this isn't the place to discuss it, I'm looking for a place where it would be microsoft's forum's.
