Problems With CAS server and OAB generation/Download
Hi All Right some back ground I have an exisiting I have installed a 2nd CAS server in View of Migrating from Physical to Virtual Machine Everything seems to be working ok on the New CAS IE, the OAB generation completes ok and the files in the OAB folder on the Exchnage server are reading the latest date. My problem is that I have created a DG but the clients do not have this DG in there outlook, if I open a mail message and type ret and hit ctrl K nothing returned when I would expect to see the name and address of the DG. If i log on to the WEB mail and do the same then the DG is found fine If i click to download the address book it says connecting to Exchange then says that it is complete but no entry, there are no entries in the event log on either Exchnage or the Client and no issues in the Sync folder Also if i hold control and right click on the Outlook icon and test auto config, it read both the old CAS and the new CAS and changes, how can i stop the old CAS turning up here as this may be the problem. Thanks in advance

Hi JohnNMason, By default, OAB generation for Web-based distribution runs every eight hours. To immediately update the OAB for Web-based distribution, follow these steps: Start the services Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in on the server that runs the Exchange 2007 Client Access server role. To do this, click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK. In the services list, right-click Microsoft Exchange file distribution, and then click Restart. Regards!
