I am having issues printing duplex in Microsoft Word 2010. We have selected Print on Both Sides (flip pages on long edge) and it continues to default to this setting but the pages are not printing duplex. This problem is only happening in Word- Excel works fine and other programs installed are also working so it is not the printer settings. All of the computers having the issue are running on Windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit. The printer we are using is a Samsung ML- 4512ND
Hi,
According to your description, I assume there are two scenarios. I have a Word document included two pages and want to duplex printing.
1.After setting the "Print on Both Sides "(flip pages on long edge) in Word 2010, it only printed the first page in one paper, and did not print the second page in opposite of the paper.
2.Print the Word document in one side of two paper.
Which scenarios had happened?
Because you had said the Excel and other programs can print duplex well, I recommend you refer to the link and follow the steps to test again:

Hi,
I have Windows 7, Office 2010
Duplex printing would work printing a PDF, but would NOT Duplex from a Word document. After two days days with Epson, uninstalling and installing a new driver, and a half day with Microsoft (wanted payment).....and no solution from either, I felt a bit desperate. But.....Solved my own problem, and may solve yours.
1. Open Word - File
2. Click Options
3. Click Advanced
4. Go to Print Section
5. Tick the box that says "Print on front of the sheet for Duplex printing"
6. Tick the box that says "print on back of the sheet for Duplex printing"
Cheers!
