I googled microsoft 2010 60 day free trial that stated it would provide a product key. When i installed it it is now asking for a product key which i never recieved. Is there anything i can do about this or any other way i can install a free trial of micosoft word???

Which Microsoft product did you download? If it was Office Professional Plus 2010 from this link:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/evaluate-office-professional-plus-2010

The key should be provided before you downloaded the trial version, like this image below:

You may have not noticed this and closed the web page. You can visit the page and register to continue again, get the key to activate your trial version.
