Profile Analyzer Not Completing
I am trying to collect messaging statistics for my Exchange server over the last 30 days so I downloaded and ran the Microsoft Exchange Server Profile Analyzer.
I created an account, gave it Exchange View-Only Administrator Permissions and ensured it did not have Domain or Enterprise Administrator permissions per this link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb508856%28v=exchg.65%29.aspx
The collection runs and the progress bar fills completely but then it just stops and doesn't generate a report and the status next to the progress bar still says "InProgress".
What could possibly be going wrong and how do I resolve the issue?

Where would I find this log. I do get an application log error 104. It doesn't look like the one you linked but it is long and hard to read. I can pick out "Exchange Search Indexer failed to enable the Mailbox Database" and "Unable to SetProperty
on catalog".
There are also warnings, event ID 9554 that say "Unable to update Mailbox SD in the DS."
I'm working in Exchange 2007 and the other link you provided is for 2010.

I found the log files, it doesn't say anything like the link you posted does. It seems fine to a certain point and then the log file starts saying "Error: System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.EndGetResponse(IAsyncResult
asyncResult)" over and over again.

Still having this issue. Any idea, do the results in the log give any hints?

Ran it again, this time I ran it using my administrator account but first removed my domain and enterprise admin permissions. Same result, progress bar fills but doesn't finish and generate a report and the status says "InProgress". It's not
frozen because the program is still responding and manipulable.
