Profile restriction question on GPO in AD(2003) for XP workstations
Hi Everyone, I have an issue where everytime a certain software is used by a new user, it creates a local account profile for them on this "kiosk". They have to authenticate with AD credentials at runtime to use this. The services the application uses, "log on as" the authenticating user. We are wondering if anyone knows of a way through group policy or registry restrictions, to disable the creation of profiles on the XP machine. The hard drive is getting squashed with all of the users large roaming profiles being stored on this machine. I wish I could tell them to buy a larger hard drive, but I can't. Any advice on this would be appreciated. If I'm missing any data, please feel free to ask.
