Hello,

I have switched to Mac Book Pro recently and run apple mail and entourage as my email clients. 

Previously i had a windows pc in which i had outlook as my email client. I have important mails as well as contacts in outlook that i need to transfer to apple mail as well as to entourage. 

I prefer to use both the email clients because each benefits me for my personal reasons so i want my mails to be transferred to both of them. 

Please suggest me some quick and smart answers to resolve my issue.

Apple mail and Entourage mail both work using a different file format from Outlook.Outlook saves the data/messages using .pst extension whereas Apple mail and Entourage support file formats such as .mbox files.

There exist no manual way for converting pst to mbox , you'll need a third party software . Or Follow these steps

->Export your data from outlook and save the file to a location accesible using your mac pc

->Get Mail Monkey from app store 

->Run the application and click on open pst file 

->select the pst file saved earlier and on the top left corner click save

Here you have all your data converted into apple mail format (.mbox)

I was browsing here and there and found a third-party utility, called PST Recovery tool of SysInfoTools Software. I read that it not only recovers mailbox data from corrupted PST file(s), but also provides users an option to save the recovered data into a new file of various formats. You need to define a format from these: PST, DBX, MSG, EML, MBOX and archive. The archive itself includes many other formats, such as: EML, ICS, VCF and text. You must have sound knowledge about email migration terminology then you would be able to migrate PST file into Apple mail archive file (MBOX).  That's why, it is a complex process for general level users.  

You can try third party software for conversion of PST file into MBOX format. MBOX file format is compatible with Apple Mail as well as Entourage. So, no need to worry about compatibility issues.
