Public Folder Archiving
I have an E-Mail enabled public folder in Exchange Server 2007 SP1 that is full and needs to be archived to make space. What is that best way to archive off this public folder?

I guess that depends on what you consider an archive to be. Some places need to just shrink the size of the public folder, but don't want to move any objects out. About the only solution there is a vaulting solution such as Symantec Evault. However these are often expensive and require their own infrastructure. If you just want to move items out to an offline storage, then using Outlook to archive the PF to a PST is probably the most effecient manner. There is also a way to tell a PF to auto-purge items after X days, but it has been a long time since I have done that and I would have to go research how to do it. Good Luck!

There are third party tools for archiving data. Data can be moved to pst and online defrag could be done to clear white space.
