I have One Exchange server 2010 Sp1 with One Public folder. I do not know the reason, but suddenly if someone open new item in PF (mail enabled), users get conflict massage. I did not find anything, that would be related to these problem, only if there is replica, but there is no replica. I wouldn't expect to see anything in the Application log. The primary cause of that problem in my experience is AV scanning in Outlook. The AV will touch the item, perhaps to mark it as scanned. If multiple clients are scanning the item at the same time, then you get conflict requests. AVG was notorious for doing this, as were a few others. Hello, When there are multiple replicas of a public folder then it is possible that replication conflicts will occur. For example, two users modify the same item (i.e. between replication intervals) but on two different replicas. It started with new version of AV software. I have to remove Outlook integration on client side.
