Public Folder Replication Status on E2K7
I would like to take down our temporary Exchange server used for migration but I am not sure if the public folder replication from TEMPMAIL to MAIL is complete. Is there any PS commands that will show me the replication status? What should I be looking for to determine if it is safe to uninstall the TEMPMAIL server? Thanks,Colin

I'm not sure it's if helpful to you. In cmdletrun Get-EventLogLevel will find a lot of MSExchangeIS \9001 Public\Replications .....content Maybe you can modify these content logging level to help you check public folder replication status.

Jammy, Thanks for the pointer. There still lokos like a lot of potential for noise with 26 categories to choose from. Ideally I'm looking for something like what we saw in ESM where is said the public folders were in sync or local modified. Thanks,Colin

I think I might have stumbled over a process here: 1. Run MoveAllReplicas PS script to set the replicas from source to destination. 2. Turn up repilcation logging and/or wait minutes, hours, days (we waited at least a week to be extra safe) 3. Run the following command on the destination server to check out the origin server:Get-PublicFolder -Recurse | Format-Table Name, OriginatingServer 4. Run the following command on the destination server to check out the item count:Get-PublicFolder -Recurse | Get-PublicFolderStatistics 5. Run the previous command on the source server to see that folders don't exist on that server. And I believe that is all based on the advice in the replication blog post that we should watch item counts. I would appreciate any pointers if there is anything else that we may have missed. Cheers,Colin
