Public Folder assistant Mail notifications not working on adding event.

Currently on Exchange 2013, have Mail enabled public folders and inside them are Shared Calendars users use to book appointments/resources etc. Previously on exchange 2007 using Folder assistant we were able to setup rule to forward the events/items added by any user to set of users, but same feature (email notification when adding event to shared public calendar) is not working.

Went into the properties of the Shared Calendar, clicked on folder assistant and setup the rules for that particular calendar.

There seems to be no email notifications received. Has that feature been axed in 2013 exchange ? Is there a way to get similar feature even if we have to use other method instead ?

Thanks, this is great! Now I have another problem with publuc folders, maybe you have it too...

I have mail-enabled public folders and inside them child mail-enabled public folders. On parent public folder I have enabled outlook's Folder Assistant to forward messages to child public folder. But it does not works.

I have following error in event viewer on Exchange server:

Cannot find Routing Destination and Delivery Group for database Public Folders in routing tables with timestamp 14.06.2013 7:25:41. Routing will try to find another proxy destination.

Hi,

No, my 2nd option Leave message intact is not work too.

May be this issue from Exchange 2007 and we must wait for CU2.

You may try to get ticket from incident support of Microsoft.

Ticket from Microsoft, don't they charge you for every ticket ? Never had this issue actually with exchange 2007 only with 2013 will check around and see if the update for exchange will fix it when it comes.

PS: how do you check the public folders mailbox ? I do not think you can access it via owa ?

If you gold partner - you have 5 free tickets from Microsoft support. Silver and other partners - I don't remember how much tickets.

I check public folder mailbox from Outlook 2010. But I can access public folder from OWA (right click on favorits, select add public folder).

The email notifications are now being sent out randomly at odd times multiple times, so for example you setup 4 or 5 users to receive the notification there will be odd time when they all receive 2 or 4 notification of the event. This is so weird anyone else had similar issues of multiple notifications to single user ?
