Public Folder owner is deleted user
In Exchange 2007, we have a public folder for which the owner was removed from Active Directory. Unfortunately, no other users had sufficient permissions to modify the folder, so now we can't do anything with it. (I can go to the Permissions tab for the folder, but all settings are greyed out.) At this point, all we want to do is delete the public folder. I had thought that adding a user to the"Exchange Public Folder Administrators" group would allow them to modify the public folder, but it doesn't appear to change anything. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Hello, If you haveExchange Public Folder Administrator role and member of the local Administrators group for the target server then you can give permission to user or you can also delete public folder.
