Public Folders
Migrated from Exchange 2003 to Exchagne 2007. When users sign on through Outlook they are prompted to sign onto the old server for the public folders. All the public folders are directed to the new server. Any idea how to remove that from prompting them to sign on to the old server and public folders?
FYI- I have removed users profiles off Outlook, reconfigured using the Auto Configure. The old Exchange 2003 server is completely shutdown. Still they are pointed over to the old server.

Clarify: After migrated public folder from Exchange server 2003 [03] to Exchange server 2007 [07], outlook always prompt credential to connect 03s old public folder, right?
Troubleshooting:
1. On the server side, use ADSIEditor to check public folders attributes
a. Start->Run->adsiedit.msc
b. expand Configuration->CN= Configuration,DC=DomainName,DC=Com->CN=Services->CN=Microsoft Exchange->CN=OrgName->CN=Exchange Administrative Group (xxx)->CN=Folder Hierarchies
c. In the right pane, check msExchOwningPFTreeBL attributes under Public Folder
It shall match with DN of Public Folders under Folder Hierarchies
Notes: msExchOwningPFTreeBL specify the DNs of all stores that make up the folder hierarchy
Notes: Please also review other public folder related attributes
2. Go to affected users PC, use MFCMAPI to check which public folder server replica user connected to by default
a. Run MFCMAPI on users PC
b. Session menu->choose Logon and Display Store Table->choose affected users profile in jumped window
c. Double-click Public Folder->single-click Public Root in next window->search for PR_REPLICA_SERVER property, itll show the name of server that outlook is using to access
3. Confirm which public folder database is users default one. [See here]. Then check its msExchOwningPFTree attribute with ADSIEditor
Collect info:
1. Despite the prompt, can users access 07s public folder currently?
2. Prompt happens when user login to outlook, right? Can you give me a screenshot for issue?
3. Is there any related info you can post in clients application log if reproduce the issue?

Yes sorry. There was some replication that was pointing to the old server. Once I fixed that everything seemed to be fine.
