Hi We are running Exchange 2003.... One of the guys in my team has mentioned that new Public Folders need to be 'published' on the HTTP virtual server of a mailbox server...I must admit, I have never heard of this before and the Internet doesn't bring up much. Can someone enlighten me? Is this publishing to allow MAPI access or OWA access, or both? And does this occur only when starting a new PF tree? Hope someone can un-confuse me :)

Hi, When Exchange Server do not have public IP address, we need to map the port on router or to publish exchange server via ISA. So that internet user can access OWA or RPC OVER HTTP. If we publish via ISA, then please verify if Public virtual directory has been published. If Exchange Server do have public IP, then theres no need to publish public virtual directory again.
