Hello, The question is very vague. I'm not sure what you mean by pointing your public IP to the Exchange. In order for your exchange server to work properly and relay mail, follow these quick guide steps: 1. On your firewall, open port 25 (smtp) and forward it to the Exchange server. 2. In DNS, create an A record, i.e. mail.yourdomain.com that resolves to your Public IP. 3. Create an MX record that points to the A record 4. As your ISP (or whoever is delegated) to create a reverse DNS PTR record that resolves your public IP to mail.yourdomain.com This is a very simplistic answer, there are many variables depending on your scenario. If neither mine nor Rich's answer is what you are looking for, please be more detailed about what your needs are. Thanks, Miguel Miguel Fra /

Hi,I agree with Rich.Do not directly expose your exchange server to the internet due to the security. You can give the IP address to ISA server, MX is pointed to the the ISA. Then publish Exchange via ISA.
