Public folder mail address
Hi
I have mail disabled an inbox in a public folder with the mail address
x1@x.com. Now i would like to create a user mailbox with the same address and it says that the address
x1@x.com already exists. When i do a custom advanced search in active directory that looks like this: proxyaddresses=smtp:reporting@arcticpaper.com it finds that the address stil is in that inbox. When i mail enable the inbox i
cannot find it there. How can i delete that address so i can create a user mailbox with the same mail address?
We have Exchange 2010.
Best regards
Matthias

Hi,
Seems that the object was not deleted correctly from MESO.
Delete the object manually from domain.local/Microsoft Exchange System Objects
See if you can find it, running:
Get-MailPublicFolder x1@x.com| ft primary*,identityMartina Miskovic
