Public folders 2003-2007
Hello, I have taken over a migration project. Where I have to migrate user's from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007 and also Public folder. I have complete the user's migration part and used a script for that. Regarding the public folders, I have been told that I should create a PST file from the outlook interface, which I did (about 1 Go). Then I should from my organization open an outlook interface with an admin account and import the PST file into the "public folder" folder. In fact, I guess this is possible as the folder is already existing (the person prior in charge has done it as test but Publi Folders aren't up-to-date). So I guess would only have to import that pst... My questions are? 1) According what I have been told and by importing the public folder through PST, the permission will be kept by proceeding that way. But how could I change client permission after I import the public folder? 2) could I keep managing everything from outlook or I would need to use some powershell command? 3) how can I add me full permission? Thanks to all in advance, Graig

You left out one very important piece of information, intra-organizational, or inter-organizational move? -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." .
