Public folders do not replicate
I just setup a new exchange server and have successfully migrated all the users to the new server but the public folders do not replicate. All I see on the new server are duplicate folders e.g. globalevents, internal, etc... there are no other folders that replicate. I have made sure that I added the new server to all the folder to replicate and still nothing. I have checked that there are e-mail addresses for both the servers and I have verified that they are sending e-mails to each other, not sure what else to do at this point. Any help would be appreciated. Exchange 2003 SP2 on Server 2003 SP2 Thanks Gavin...

Do you have any error message in the event log? Did you enable the extended logging for PF? Here is a good PF troubleshooting KB article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/842273 Santhosh Sivarajan | MCTS, MCSE (W2K3/W2K/NT4), MCSA (W2K3/W2K/MSG), CCNA, Network+ Houston, TX http://blogs.sivarajan.com/ http://publications.sivarajan.com/ This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.

It appears that the replication is only one way, from the new server to the old server. When check the tracking I only show 1 message being sent from the old server to the new one. All the other e-mails are from the new server. Any idea on how I can fix this? Thanks, Gavin...

Did you add all the replicas to the new server? How long have you waited?

Do you have PF relica on both servers? Also, what is your PF replication interval?Santhosh Sivarajan | MCTS, MCSE (W2K3/W2K/NT4), MCSA (W2K3/W2K/MSG), CCNA, Network+ Houston, TX http://blogs.sivarajan.com/ http://publications.sivarajan.com/ This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.

What I did was removed the replica from each public folder and added them back in, after that they started to replicate.
