Public folders incoming email problem
recently migrated from 5.5 > 2003 > 2007 in the space of a very busy weekend. which was fun. Everything seems to be working ok, except the public folders do not seem to be recieving emails from the internet. Sending emails to the public folders internally works fine. Checking the message tracking i find the following message. any ideas?550 5.2.0 STOREDRV.Deliver: The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service reported an error. anyone?as a bit of an update, i've created a fresh new public folder using beta sp1's managment console and tested that, and that is receiving emails fine. so must be something to do with the migration process.only workaround i can see is to recreate all of the pub folders.. which number in their hundreds so thas not a route i really would prefer to take

I am also having the same issue. Except we did not migrate over from any previous version of exchange and this is happening on newly created Public Folders. The e-mails that are not reaching the mail-enabled public folders are actually from another server within the domain. If anyone has any idea on a resolution to this problem let me know.-Dan

Solved this problem by changing the permissions for Anonymous from "none" to "Contributer".
