Public folders not showing up in Outlook 2010
I have inherited Exchange 2007 that was upgraded from 2003. Due to various errors, I was forced to completely rebuild and then remove the public folder heirarchy using ADSIEDIT. I have since created a new 'Public folders' under the Second Storage Group
which mounts without any errors, I even created a test public folder which shows when I run the command: Get-PublicFolder -GetChildren
Problem is in Outlook 2010. There is no sign of public folders anywhere. When I log into OWA, no public folders listed their either. According to the Exchange management console it exists without any apparent erors (Can be mounted, unmounted, no errors in
the event log). The only error I have to work with is an Outlook sync log which says: Could not connect to public folder server. [0-0]
Can anyone please, please shed some light on this?

After spending hours on this I checked another users machine and they could see the Public folders. I recreated my local Outlook profile and it has appeared!
Thanks for your suggestion Tim.

I had created a second database and it was still pointing at the 2003 Exchange server PF replicas and did not update when i removed the Exchange 2003 server.
Thanks this really helped me out.

To Show Public Folders and then you need to copy to your Favourites
In the Navigation Pane for Outlook 2010 is Ctrl+6 (but they disappear as soon as you move the cursor).
Then, right click on Abcd (name of Public Folder required) Click Add to Favourites
