How would I go about published a calendar for a shared mailbox?

Also, is there a way for me to share calendar (send out a sharing invitation) for a shared calendar that I have full access to?

Define "published".

What happens if you create an appointment in the shared calendar?  Does it show as being from you?

You know published, like published to a web URL

If I create an appointment, it creates in my calendar.  I would need to invite the shared calendar.

As to creating an appointment, that's how it works.  If you want to create an appointment in a shared calendar, open that calendar and create the appointment in that calendar.
