One of my network guys wants to know if we can do static port mapping with Outlook and and Exchange 2007. The reason is that he want to make sure that connection has priority over other traffic on WAN links. I know how to do the static port mapping, but what I would like to know is, is this the right solution to the problem? Is there an alternative way to gaurantee performance without setting the static port mappings in Exchange 2007.
