Query-based Distribution Group problem - Exchange 2003
I'd like to set up a QBDG with all of our users from the "domain users" group, however I'd like to exclude users from another group (even though they're a member of the domain users group). Is this possible in Exchange 2003? I've tried to no avail.
Thanks,
Scott

It's possible but what you have to do is to create a security group and add all the people you want to it and create a QBDG with a custom attribute with an attribute called i.e. QBDG and anyone who's in that group should automatically be part of the QBDG.

The Domain Users group is a security group, so I can use that. However, there are users in another group (but still members of the domain users group) that I would like specifically excluded from the QBDG. How can I do that?
Thanks,
Scott

Hi,
You can customize filter to the group which you would like to include in QBDG. The QBDG can also be filtered by server and Mailbox Store. If you would like to exclude
certain group users, you can move them to another Mailbox Store and customize filter by Mailbox Store.
