Querying Exchange Server for Calendar Sharing
Hello!
I would like to query Exchange Server for calendar sharing permissions.
I am managing Active Directory distribution groups and some of our users have used Outlook to share calendars and assigned sharing rights to an Active Directory distribution group. Since we have many users, I would like to be able to query Exchange
Server to see if any calendars are shared through the use of Active Directory distro groups.
Apparently, there is no way to tell if a distro group is being used for calendar sharing by looking at Active Directory. The only way is to look into each user's calendar sharing settings. I am hoping that there is a way to poll & query calendar
sharing through Exchange Server Admin and hunt down those that are using distribution groups.
Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

You should always post your Exchange server version and service pack level.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

I think it depends on the version of Exchange you are using, as discussed here:

Hi,
Based on your description, I understand that you want to query some users’ calendar share to whom or which group, am I right?
So far, I can just think of a tool named PFDAVAdmin will help you. Maybe you should download it and have a try.
Microsoft Exchange Server Public Folder DAV-based Administration Tool:

If you are interested in the tool, please refer to the steps below:
1.
Click
File and choose Connect in the left higher part of the window when you double-click the .exe file.
2.
Please type the names in the boxes of
Exchange server and Global Catalog.
3.
Select
All Mailboxes and click OK.
4.
And then you can view who can access the calendar of an specific mailbox.
Best regards,
Serena
