Question about CQL
Hello i have a exhcange 2010 sp1 DAG and there are three members of the DAG. two members are on same site and thrid member is on remote site connected via mpls wan link. i am in a middle of a migration from ex 2003 to ex 2010. my dag member
at remote site was showing high CQL. so i reseed the database on remote member but it is taking for ever to finish. any other options. should i cancel and add mailbox copy to the remote member ? any other advise

Reseeding wouldn't help a high copy queue length. What the symptoms you describe tell me is that your WAN link is too small.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

my wan link is ok. i have another database and it is replicating ok. i finally got tired and removed the database and now adding it from scratch. and cQL is very high on that too..i saw some posts where someone actutualy dismount the active database
delete all the logs from that server then mount the database on active server again. then resume passicve copy on troubled server and it was ok .. any thoughts on that

Hi
1.Unhook and rehook Forefront
2. Install RU3
3. Modify the rules on firewall and replication
4. Communicate with harddisk vendor
5. The reseeding works fine for the databases, but the
Copy queue length is very high after the reseed. Removed the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\cluster\ExchangeActiveManager\LastLog" for the respective affected Database GUID’s on all of the Dag members.
